The Grace of God: Our Motivation
RMNT 2019: Who We Are • 1h 28m
God doesn’t send anyone to hell. Hell wasn’t made for us. It was made for Satan and his demons. We send ourselves to hell by sinning and separating ourselves from God. Oftentimes we get mercy and grace confused. When God looked down at the Earth, and Adam and Eve had fallen, mercy was the cry and grace was the answer. God said, I see your mercy and raise you grace in the human form of Jesus. Grace doesn’t give you license to sin. Grace gives us the power to overcome sin. It gives us the power to say no to sin and no to the enemy. If you’re playing with God’s grace, you’re on a dangerous slope. You cannot use His grace to maintain your sinful lifestyle. Grace isn’t forgiveness, grace brings repentance. Grace exposes sin and the hidden sin in our heart.
