Matthew 22:37-40 states that “‘Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” We must love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and guard our hearts from the attacks of the enemy. The enemy attacks the heart to distract us from loving God fully. Our heart shows the type of person we are. The condition of our heart will be the condition of our life because everything flows from the heart.
