Isaiah 14:12 "How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!" The authority Lucifer had in heaven was removed when he chose to rebel against God. Rebellion caused Satan to be cast down to the earth. Now, the status of Satan is defeated and underneath the feet of the sons and daughters of God.
